Designing the structure of PMM
If there are no pallets in the cold store, then rails are used in this case. They are placed on the floor of the cell. At the same time, there should be a distance of 100-150 mm between them. When a chamber is used in the warehouse, the width of which is from 12 to 18 m, it is necessary to provide for 1 passage. If its width is greater, then in this case there should be one passage for every two six-meter spans. Its width should be 1600 mm.
It is allowed to use inventory, equipment and containers in refrigerated warehouses if they were made from materials approved for use by health authorities. Racks, grates, containers, pallets, carts and even electric cars made of metal must be treated with anti-corrosion compounds.
Today, there are no special rules for the control and operation of such complexes, but their activity is regulated by general requirements for warehouse management. There are certain standards in this, which must be taken into account when developing the project of such objects.

Any warehouse of fuel and lubricant products is a complex of buildings and a set of equipment that is used during the reception, processing and storage of PMM. - operative zone with special equipment, which allows filling of PMM into different containers;
- auxiliary zone, which includes objects that allow the entire warehouse to function normally (boiler room, electrical substation, repair shop, etc.);
- administrative zone, where the management of the enterprise, security, garage management, fire station are located.
During the design of PMM warehouse complexes, the estimated area of each zone is taken into account. If a project of a port warehouse is created, then a separate zone is provided, where tanker products are loaded and unloaded. In other words, these are piers with special equipment.

Illuminated access roads are laid to the fuel and lubricant storage base. These are railway tracks and roads made of concrete or asphalt. PMM warehouses are always surrounded by a fence, the height of which is at least 2 meters. Non-combustible materials are used for production.
Even during the design of the PMM structure, the locations of fire shields must be determined. Each of the buildings on the territory is created with two or more exits. At the same time, door structures should open only outwards. Directly, the containers where the PMM is stored are installed on a high-strength foundation. Depending on the height of the tanks, they are equipped with stairs equipped with handrails. Such structures can have a maximum slope of 60 degrees, and their steps must be at least 650 mm wide. At the same time, large tanks must be covered with compositions that have good resistance to aggressive environments.
