A+ is a warehouse building with one floor, which was created using lightweight metal structures and sandwich panels. Most often, it is designed in a rectangular shape. Warehouses of this class may have columns, but the distance between them must be at least 12 meters. At the same time, spans in such houses are located at a distance of 24 meters from each other. These warehouses are designed with a concrete floor, which is treated with anti-dust compounds. These buildings are also characterized by high ceilings. The distance to them from the floor is at least 13 meters. Thanks to this, the designer will be able to envisage multi-tiered racks in the premises.
And this is a building for storing various products. Its design is carried out both without columns and with them. In the second case, the structures are located with a step of not less than 9 meters. At the same time, the minimum distance between spans is 24 meters. In buildings, a floor is designed, which is covered with an anti-dust compound. A warehouse building of this class is characterized by 10-meter ceilings. Multi-level shelving equipment can be installed in the premises.
B+ is a one-story warehouse. Its floor is made of concrete with a surface treated with an anti-dust compound. This design is designed to withstand a load of at least 5 tons/m2. The minimum ceiling height in this building is 8 meters.
B is a warehouse building with one or two floors. If a two-story building is being designed, the estimated number of freight elevators is assumed. They can be replaced by special pulls capable of moving at least 3,000 kg. This category of warehouses, the floor of which is made of asphalt or concrete, is characterized by the height of the premises at least 6 meters.
C is an insulated hangar, the ceiling of which should be at least 4 meters. In it, a concrete floor is arranged without a coating or asphalt is laid. The gate in this composition is set at the zero mark. If the building is multi-level, freight elevators must be provided.
D is an unheated hangar equipped with additional platforms where heavy goods vehicles can park. The construction of objects of this type is carried out using light metal structures.
When designing a warehouse belonging to any of the listed classes, the following systems are always developed:
- ventilation;
- protection;
- fire alarm system;
- video surveillance;
- automatic fire extinguishing.
In addition, the design of fast-erecting warehouses also involves the development of office, technical and auxiliary premises on the same object, which is created from a metal frame, which allows for the re-planning of the premises if necessary. All elements are connected using welded or bolted connections.
