According to the norms of the Water Code of Ukraine, a special security regime is established in coastal areas. In such areas, strict requirements are imposed on the objects being erected. In particular, their construction can be carried out only after the preparation of project documentation, which is developed in compliance with special requirements. That is why builders first of all turn to professionals in the field of design, because only experts can take into account all the rules and competently draw up the "Environmental Protection" section of the project. Restrictions on economic activity are established in order to prevent pollution of the aquatic environment. They operate on the coastline, the width of which usually does not exceed 500 m. In this area, the law prohibits:

  • car washing.

In other words, it is forbidden to build structures that could harm the water body on the site 500 m from the reservoirs. However, it is still possible to build a capital structure on the coastal territory, if measures are taken to protect the reservoir from pollution. Moreover, many facilities in 1980-1990 were built in water protection zones in gross violation of environmental norms.

Therefore, it was decided not to demolish the building, but to force the owners to take all the necessary measures aimed at protecting the environment. After that, they will be able to legalize the buildings. Thanks to the new version of the Water Code of Russia, entrepreneurs have the opportunity to do business in the water protection zone.
