It is not recommended to place sports and assembly halls, libraries and archives, taking into account the increased load. When allocating the premises on the second and higher floors to the gym, it is necessary to take measures to increase sound insulation. Canteens and cafes are not allowed.

The volumes that are added during the development of the school reconstruction project are most often converted into libraries, halls and catering establishments, and classrooms are equipped in the vacated spaces in the existing building. It is important that, according to regulatory documents, the school building after reconstruction must ensure the educational process in one shift.

During the reconstruction, the conformity of the area of the classrooms with the number of students studying in them is also checked. If necessary, the layout of the existing building is changed. The project must be approved by state authorities. If necessary, an examination is carried out.

Carrying out capital repairs in the school is possible in the summer period, when the educational process is stopped. Work on the construction of the annex can be carried out without interrupting studies, more serious reconstruction will require the suspension of classes.
